Question: Use of Cannabis CBD in treating UC

I wanted to get opinions on using Cannabis pills/oil (specifically versions with Low THC/High CBD aka. cannabidiol levels) for arresting or even curing Ulcerative Colitis (and Liver Cirrhosis). My current doctors in Colorado are not signed up to prescribe. Although I could just get it myself I have no idea on dosage or frequency if I did.

I know there has been studies and even patents on the use of cannabidiol for UC, Cancer, Epilepsy, Liver, and various other ailments.

What is your take and if applicable, what dosage makes sense?
Thanks,
Rick
